Dress Code: Pacific Edge’s summer camp dress code policy applies the same as per our gym policies. No jeans, buttons, zippers, hoods, or belts. Students must wear athletic clothing to participate in the activities. No sports bras or crop tops. No bare midriff.

 

Food Policies: Students must bring their own lunch each day for summer camps. Please notify staff of ANY and ALL dietary restrictions or allergies. Please refrain from packing any sort of nuts in your lunch as nut allergies are a common occurrence. Please only bring water in a sealed container. We do provide 2 snacks per day during breaks in between activities!

 

Disciplinary Policies: PESA has a zero tolerance policy for violence, curse words, bullying, or any other inappropriate behavior. If these actions occur, the student will be asked to leave for the remainder of the summer camp day. If this continues to occur, the student will not be allowed to attend the remainder of the camp. Behavioral problems will have a three strike rule with our camping staff. 

• 1st strike will be sitting out for 5 minutes.

• 2nd strike will be sitting out for 10 minutes.

• 3rd strike will be a call home where the student will be asked to leave and return the following day. If this behavior continues, the student will not be allowed to attend for the remainder of the camp.

 

Attendance: Per our policies, if you miss a day of summer camp, there are NO makeups, NO rescheduling, and NO refunds or credits given. 

 

Medication: Pacific Edge Staff does not administer medication but will allow inhalers to be left with the front desk for the child to have access to. This will be the only exception for medication. 

 

Personal Items: Please leave all personal items at home. This includes toys, blankets, and any other items of value. Pacific Edge is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

Pick-up and Arrival:

Arrival: Summer camp check in is prompt at 9:00am. PESA does allow a 5 minute grace period for arrival.

Pick-up: Campers must be picked up no later than 3:15pm. If you fail to pick up by 3:15pm you will be charged a $15 late pick up fee. No students can be left to wait for classes in between summer camp and regular scheduled class as no staff will be on hand to supervise. Parents must come in to pick up campers. No curbside pick up. 

 

Check-in/Check-out:

Check in: Parents/Guardians must be present at the time of drop off to check in their athlete as well as fill out an emergency contact form which states who is allowed to pick up their athlete from camp for the week. Athletes will be handed a wristband which will need to remain on for the entirety of the camp for the day.

Check out: Parents/Guardians* must be present at the time of pick up to physically sign their athlete out via our Summer Camp Check Out Sheet. They will provide their name & the name of their athlete(s) to the member services specialist who will confirm the adult has permission to pick the athlete up & that it is the correct athlete. The member service specialist will then cut off the wristband of the athlete, signifying that they have been safely & correctly checked out to leave with that parent/guardian for the day.

 

*You can go on your iClassPro Parent Portal where you manage your account with us to add other guardians to your account so that we have them on file for drop-off & pick-up or in case we need to contact them.  

 

Snack Bar and Pro Shop: 

Campers are not allowed to purchase from the snack bar during summer camp hours. You can purchase from the snack bar after 3pm.
